Just recently I've discovered what has got to be one of the best things about twins. When it's time to play ball---I have a catcher! It's awesome! Rex and Lyle like catching just about as much as hitting and when the ball is hit, they'll go get it. YES!! It is so fun to play with them. They hit home plate with the bat when they are taking their stance, they slide, they know all the baseball jargon, and I love watching them run around the bases sending puffs of dandelion fluff in the air. It really is a great time.
Today was one of those days I would choose to live again at some later time in life. It was absolutely gorgeous! Playing ball outside, eating popsicles with the kids, turning a grumpy Talmage cheery with a back rub, a long pleasant evening, reading bedtime stories. So glad I choose to be home to make it happen and be a part of it.
I knew it had been a awhile since my last post but I had no idea it was a whole month! Pretty much summed up like this---thought we'd get some underground sprinklers in during Spring Break. Yeah---digging and cleaning trenches yesterday, back again tomorrow.
Oh, and planning a 20 year class reunion, accepting the assignment to be Stake Day Camp director, agreeing to speak at Girl's Camp, Bryant's birthday party, and baseball season. Does building a house fit in anywhere?
I'll have to upload some pictures to sum up April.
