Happy New Year

We made a feast to celebrate our gratitude for such an amazing and healthy year for our family.

Talmage and Bryant stayed up late to watch a movie with us and ring in the new year.  We could see a panoramic view of Richland and all the fireworks at midnight.  It was pretty neat.  Just as we were climbing into bed during the wee hours of the morning, the vomiting began.  Happy New Year.  Poor Lyle.

December and Christmas Time

Our ward had its Christmas party the first Wednesday in December.  Little guys were a little shy but they paid a visit to the Jolly Man.

On December 6th we had family pictures taken with a foam machine since we didn't have any snow.

The next morning I tried to get a picture of all my handsomes.  This was as good as I could do.
Love Hyrum's face.

That afternoon, the kids settled down for a long winter's nap by the fire, the tree, and the rising cinnamon rolls (for the First Presidency Christmas Devotional).

Grandma Webb died a few days shy of her December 5th birthday.  Since we would already be as far as Twin Falls for the Graveside, we decided to go the rest of the way to Utah so James could visit Stephen and so we could take the kids to Temple Square at Christmastime.  It was wonderful.

Not a great picture except when you consider the background.  I love it.

Almost exactly 15 years ago James and I were on a date in exactly the same place.  Following Russian tradition, James threw a coin into the fountain in hopes of returning to the same place.  What do ya know?!

The kids got to touch the Salt Lake Temple.

Afterwards, we went to a downtown Wendy's and really spooked the kids.  Sunday they woke up to snow in Santaquin and couldn't have been happier.  It was a really fast trip, but actually really fun.  We stayed up late watched Miracle on 34th Street at the hotel, swam in the pool, and best of all, got to visit with several of James's family.  We had super roads and read The Christmas Box for the first time on the way home.

Really excited to see our family picture results:

Trying to wait patiently for the big day to arrive:
