First Wrecked Car Fixed

After Gp and Gm got rear-ended James bought the totaled vehicle in hopes of fixing it.  I was skeptical but with Phil Bleazard's help, and a spare bumper, it was good as new in a day.

Ragnar

July 13-14th. Wow.  Ragnar beat me up.  But being with Taneil for a straight 48 hours and watching her triumph was worth it.

We were both in tears at the end of her last leg--7miles with a pulled calf muscle.

Limping to the finish line.

Taneil, Me, Danell, Jacey, Dawn, and Kory.
Forever bonded now!

Taneil and I rode over with Terri.  She is a remarkable woman divinely schooled.  That was another great part of the weekend.

Summertime Fun

A perfect night for a Dust Devil's Game.

Hyrum got to play on a soccer league with Oliver and Audrey Mathews.  He did a great job and we loved watching him!

Spirit Lake

First week of July.
The Vacation that almost didn't happen.
Grandma begged us to come up to Spirit Lake but we didn't know if we would still be doing raspberries for Farmer's Market.  Somewhat last minute we went up to Uncle Ivan and Aunt Terry's Lakehouse.  It was amazing!  The most relaxing vacation we have probably had.

4th of July

Always a favorite.  Not too hot this year.

Sariah always has a festive hair-do.

Boys always in it for the water fight.

We invited ourselves back over to Kami's.

Rex and Lyle enjoying the fireworks.

Farmer's Market

We had enough quantity for two  weeks of Farmer's Market this year.  It was a good experience and we sold old both weeks.  Next year, we will have much more quantity as the new rows up production.

Last Day of School

 Saying good-bye is always hard.

(I cannot say enough good about the way Mrs. Miller influenced Sariah and helped her to blossom)

Sariah and Stanley the Bus Driver
I got the most complimentary phone message from Stanley.  I'm glad I missed the call because I have his words recorded now, "Sariah has been such a blessing on my bus this year.  I just wanted to let you know how dependable this girl is, and reliable, and such a pleasure to work with her.  She is something special.  So, I wanted to let you know that.  I've never had a girl that was so dependable, and just did things uh...that I've just never had any of the group to be so dependable and responsible to do 'em so uh ..She is a leader, that's for sure...  I sure appreciate her...She certainly held the bus up, she's by far the best I've ever had."
