Labor Day Weekend

Kami talked me into going fishing, so I bought a license and learned enough to take the boys fishing while James was in Utah with his family to be set apart as a high priest.

Lyle's first catch within the first 5 minutes.

Rex got one too!

Trying to rescue a line that got caught.

We weren't successful, but look at the hair-do.

And a frog.

One of those projects that sat idle for too long.

Sunday evening Carlin was married to LeeAnn at a beautiful place in Walla Walla.

I was missing James, but he was having a very special experience being ordained by his brother Mark to the office of High Priest in Santaquin.

We went early on Monday morning with Gigi before she had to go home.

After washing cars, I took the boys to the flume to play on a hot afternoon.  We were eager to welcome home Dad that afternoon.

School Starts

Monday sent Sariah to Connell as a link crew leader and James to Chiawana.

I took Rex and Lyle to Mesa for their first day.  (Hyrum was home until Tuesday.)

Since school for James didn't actually start until Tuesday, he was able to talk to Bryant.

Tuesday, a car load was headed off to catch a Mesa bus and onto Connell.

Back by popular demand at bedtime.

Lyle's first school duty was taking care of the flag.

Sariah's first football game!
