June 13th - The Stokes come to Visit!

We don't get Hales company very often so we were super excited that Steve and Becky brought Brandon and came to visit for a few days.

The kids learned some new card games that they loved

We took a hike up Badger Mountain on Flag Day.

Our planting of the flag re-enactment.

We had a beautiful bike ride along the Columbia River.

Thanks Stokes for coming to visit!

June 11&12 - Bryant's Party and Graduation

We had the PERFECT weather for Bryant's graduation party.  We celebrated with Nick Zornes, Payson Hunter Hatch, and Cooper Maughn

Very solid and well-spoken Valedictorian.  Super proud of him.

June 5&6, 2021 - Senior Fest and Seminary Graduation

Senior Fest was a drive thru for Bryant.  We washed the van and Sariah got it all decked out.

We drove through the parking lot and Bryant received all of his cords as well as a scholarship for $1000 that he didn't know he was receiving.  A welcome surprise.

James got to share his first Pasco North Seminary Graduation with Bryant.  It was probably on of the best seminary graduations I have been to.

Sariah and I caught a picture with her seminary teacher (the daughter of my seminary teacher), Sister Hadley.

We are so pleased with the young man Bryant has chosen and worked to become.

May 23, 2021 - Grandpa and Grandma's Farewell

For the true story of this date, you probably need to refer to Bryant's journal, but we'll just say she asked him the night before and after going bowling she told him that he could take care of the rest.  I must add that after pictures, she announced, "Boys in the front, girls in the back!"  It was an odd night for Bryant.

While Bryant was promming, the boys were playing with Uncle Vard.

It was the last time they would go for a ride in that particular side-by-side.  It met its end a few weeks later and we are just grateful Uncle Cole walked away in one piece.

It was fun to have family in town for Gp. and Gm.'s farewell.

May 17, 2021 - Rex and Lyle Hit Double Digits

Up bright and early for their birthday.

During school, Lizza came in with stunning birthday cakes.  All the other kids were drooling.

It had been a really great, but really long day and as I tucked them in, they were crying.  Apparently, they hadn't actually blown out any candles and so they were heart-broken.  So, back up the stairs to unwrap the cakes and blow out some candles.
