River Week

Sariah made donuts last Sunday night.  We took them to Spechts and they disappeared very quickly.

Monday we went to Hood Park to cool down in the Snake River.

We were there to hang our with a few of the families of the the other Tri-City seminary teachers.

Rex was dealing with some ear pain from swimmer's ear so he settled down with Harry Potter.

Hyrum and Lyle took to the water and didn't come out.

Sariah couldn't leave fast enough.  She is NOT a fan of bugs.

Wednesday evening the YW walked down to our Columbia River Beach.  It was such a pleasant night.  Sariah and Heidi were the only ones to go all the under the water.

The boys are getting really brave, too brave, and the Gibbons' pool.

They can do all kinds of body contortions in the air.

Bryant did two days of loading hay with Jeff Middleton this week.  This picture is a very hot, sweaty, and green (and not very happy), hard-working Bryant.

Loved this screenshot of James talking to Talmage.

Friday night, Sariah had some friends over for pizza, the river, and smores.

Another gorgeous night at the beach.

With a crescent moon.
It was the perfect temperature.  The crickets were singing and the girls were chattering.  I loved it.

Helping Grandpa take care of some weeds after he got back from Missouri.

Rex's first time driving a tractor.

Lyle, "How do I make this thing go faster?"

Sariah has been dog-sitting for Luke and Ali Strong.  "Rowdie," despite going ahead of time to meet him and walk with him, didn't want anything to do with her.  The second day, she got this close.

And today, Rowdie went for a walk with her.  Who can resist Sariah?!

Spent many hours in the bonus room this week.  I can say I don't care if I ever have to do insulation again.  James spent over 17 hours yesterday finishing up the electrical and framing.  Going to try to tackle the plumbing with Phil this week.
