Baseball and more Temple!

Mom is cleaning and sorting as they prepare to go on their mission and she'll text us pictures she finds once in awhile.  Here's a little blast from the past as today is the eve of their 10th birthday!!

Sariah's awards, a varsity letter, team captain, and first team all-league at her XC awards banquet.

Last picture with our Bryant all suited up.

Rex getting ready to play catcher, most likely for Lyle pitching.

They complain because they think the rest of their team is so bad, but they have a lot of fun.

Hyrum standing in the exact spot I did as a shortstop in high school.  His coach is the son of my elementary school coach.  Love small towns!!

A rescued baby quail from the seminary building.  Sadly, he didn't make it through the night.  Tender Rex was pretty sad.  That morning we read Doctrine and Covenants 50:42, "And none of them that my Father hath given me shall be lost."  It struck a chord with him because it was the scripture he chose to share in primary today.

James and the kids spent the day out at Mom and Dad's helping Dad covert his sprinkler system over to an automatic timer.  BIG JOB, and it was our hottest day of the year yet.  Blaire and Laryn are in town so the kids had fun playing with Ronnie and Israel too.

Yesterday evening was the first time we have been able to go to the temple to do baptisms with our kids since COVID.  Brandon and Tiffany went with us for their first time.  They were nervous but it was great.  Brandon baptized Bryant, then Tiffany, and then Mom.  He said he felt like the sinner baptizing the saint, but there he was.  That's the beauty of it all!

Bryant, all worn out on a Sunday afternoon after giving a great talk in sacrament meeting on spiritual gifts.

Temple Re-opens, Pole Vault and Prom

We took the YW to the beautiful temple grounds, it's been too long!

James and I got to go to the temple for the first time together when Makaley received her endowment.

We've been following Bryant around during his short season of track.

It's been fun!

We love Coach Martin!

He PRed at 11'6" at Fran Rish on a beautiful Friday afternoon.

James and I finally got to go to Prom!  (Actually MORP).

Here I am with my mustard and ketchup.  So glad Bryant wanted a picture with us.

Bryant and his date, Zoey Orton.

And then he turned 18!

Yesterday I took the little guys to the Washington State High School Rodeo Championships in Basin City after we helped clean up at Brenda's house.  (Stan and Brenda come home today on a break before she goes back to SLC for her surgery.)
