We took to the road on Friday, the 16th so we could make it to Rexburg by performance time.

Sariah may have discovered Hip-Hop wasn't exactly her thing, but we were sure proud of her for going off on her own and trying something new with different people. She did find out she has some "swag."
Since all the hotels were full, we decided to treat the kids to breakfast instead of a hotel stay. They loved it! (I had a smoothie before we went.)

We also tried to find Talmage's footprint that accidently landed permanently in new cement on a mad rush of his to make it to a certain store before closing.
We met up with Cole, Laryn, and Ronnie in Porter Park for a picnic. Ronnie turned 1!

Made it to Santaquin and Grandma's fountain was working.
We visited Moon's Rare Books---what a treat! Rex is holding a first edition of "The Philosopher's Stone" signed by Daniel Radcliffe.
George Washington's copy of a book about the Sabbath Day which he carried with him during the Revolutionary War.
Quititch Robes, wands, and we couldn't even take pictures of the vault!
The kids got to ring up purchases on an original Macy's cash register.
Tuesday we dropped James off to help Tadlee while we went school shoe shopping.
Met up with the Welty boys in the afternoon to go to Provo Creek.
They picked up right where they left off last summer.
Got to see a lot of family and play games and the Hales Family BBQ.
Wednesday morning Sariah wasn't feeling the best so we took the boys for a hike up to "The Grotto" in Payson Canyon.
Thursday we took a day trip down south to Salina to meet the Robinsons, the family that was so good to Talmage in his first area. They were everything he said they were. What a great family!!
Talmage said we had to try the sweet potato fries with marshmallow sauce at the Hot Spot.
Had to include Sister Robinson too!
Brother Robinson's dad, Art, started what is now the largest single-owner truck collection. Dad and Gp. Wells would have loved it. He probably had 8 huge shops with 8 huge garage doors each. Incredible.
This was his prize Bronco and the kids' favorite.
We had to stop in Manti on the way back to show the kids where it all started.
Still our favorite temple. So historic.
Stopped in Mt. Pleasant for a visit with my seminary teacher, Sister Clyde.
Picked up a few books on this trip.
Bryant was glad to see us home Friday night. He kept things in good working order while we were gone. He missed us, and we missed him, but he was very responsible and stayed home to work since he missed most of the previous week due to food poisoning.
We had to get back for our ward's Pioneer Day celebration honoring the CBW pioneers. Pantsing calves and catching greased pigs were the highlights.
