27 Days Together

First thing was family pictures:

Couldn't resist this one in Ed's backyard.

Hyrum became a teenager!

A trip to the temple with Spechts before it closed for renovations.

Once again, all together in the minivan.

We got to Stock's Beach House late on Thursday night.

The little guys couldn't wait to get to the beach in the morning.

Combing for treasures.

It was 39 degrees but they were determined.

Even with wet suits, it wasn't long before they were in pain.

This tree grew around this rock that was at least the size of a basketball.

A long walk down to the rocks.

Rex's castle.

Had some lunch and then they wanted to try again now that it was 50 degrees.

Agate beach wasn't quite what we remembered as far as agates.

We did find the same log we took a picture on 2 years ago,

and our family in driftwood.

Made it back to watch the sunset.

A picture perfect day.

Saturday, the clouds rolled in so we went for a walk in the morning.  The little guys wanted to see the rocks they missed the day before.

Their Simba moment.

We beat the storm indoors.  The wind and rain started and it was a lovely, cozy storm.

So, we headed to the Tillamook Air Museum, the largest wooden structure in America.  The structure itself is the best exhibit, left over from WWII.

Sunday we hit sacrament meeting in Tillamook and headed home so we could be back to the stake center by 6pm for Bryant to be set apart as a missionary.

Monday morning he started home MTC bright and early.

Then we threw in St. Patrick's Day

Laryn's Birthday

A homecoming talk and a farewell talk on the same Sunday with a lot of family.

(Sister Ellsworth had a candid camera.)

And Bryant flies out on Tuesday at 6am for a total of 27 wonderful days together.
It's been the best birthday present ever!
