We weren't expecting him until early Wednesday morning so when he texted that he would make it by 7:30pm or so on Tuesday, we were really excited! When he texted that we needed to pick him up at Sagemoor and Taylor Flats we all piled in the van to go get him. It was so good to see that boy step out of Jacob and Kenzi's car and into our van. I felt complete again.
He was excited for homemade chicken noodle soup and a haircut!
That's my Talmage, woke up hungry.
We gave him a mullet first just for fun. He went and picked up Sariah from the bus stop with his mullet.
Hyrum got to stay home from school on Wednesday to be with Talmage and because he had a special job. His job was to "quick thaw" the turkey--change the cold water bath and flip the turkey every 1/2 hour for 12 hours!

And then I find these two helping the "thaw" by dipping their heads in the freezing cold water. Their own polar plunge.
