ROAD RASH

Emma spent the day with us Monday while Spechts went to Silverwood.  The kids were thrilled to take her home with us Sunday night.  She was a joy!  For FHE treat she had cucumbers while we had ice cream.

On my way home from running errands on Tuesday, Bryant called me and told me to hurry that Lyle had been in a bike wreck.  This time he wasn't exaggerating.

Oww!

This week's parade with our google eye hats.  Lyle got to ride in the wagon.

Thursday we drove to Yakima to surprise Hayden and cheer him up after his rough weekend.  Here's a picture of the wounded.

The boys were pretty excited to rip up their workbooks and school work to burn in the firepit.

It was a quick blaze but a hot one, good enough for s'mores.

Could be a "happy" scar.

We got our first handfuls of berries for the season yesterday.

And since Friday night was such a heavy rainstorm, we decided to plant the pumpkin patch yesterday.  It's nice, so nice, to have a crew that can do real work.
