Debbie picked Elder Hales up at the SLC Airport. They visited some of the new displays on Temple Square and she took him to use his Cheesecake Factory gift card.
Then they headed for Santaquin to spend some time with Grandma. He was so wiped out from his short night that he crashed for 3 hours in the basement, but we are so glad he go to be with Grandma for a bit.
And he got to put his pin on the Hales Mission Board.

Then he was off to spend the night at Lynette's house so she could take him to the MTC. I got to talk to him for a minute that morning. Said he got some blood on the collar of his white shirt so he ironed a fresh one to start him mission. Atta boy!

So grateful for great family in Utah.
