There was a fly-over in honor of the medical personnel so we decided to try out a new hike, Candy Mountain.
Taneil and Emma decided to come with us which was welcomed company.

Hyrum was such a sweetheart. When he found out Emma was coming he asked for a Tootsie Pop and put it in his backpack. When we got to the top he strategically placed it and announced to Emma, "Look Emma, it is candy mountain." She was excited--and entertained all the way down the mountain.
It's nice to see your kids being friends.
On the way home we deposited the kids' money in Grandpa and Grandma's mission account and hit Dairy Queen with the kids' school coupons.
Rex was super kind to share his coupons with Taneil and I.
And... we hit another Dairy Queen on the way home!
