From Santaquin we headed up to Rexburg through Cache Valley. Cache Valley had a great feeling about it. We stopped at the Logan Temple and the Logan Tabernacle. I LOVE historic buildings!
Where Grandpa and Grandma Wells were married!
Outside the tabernacle. It was really hot, we only had 3 kids who
wanted to leave the air conditioned van.
The entrance stairs to the tabernacle.
So awesome to think of people building this with the limited tools and resources they had.
When we were driving through Whitney, Idaho and saw the sign commemorating President Benson's birthplace we had to turn around and ask some questions until we found this quiet little cemetery. We are studying President's Benson's teachings this year so it made it extra special.
The kids got a kick out of the back side of this barn on the way back to the highway.
Next stop was the Dayton Cemetery to visit Great-Grandpa Cap and Great- Grandma Ada.
Lyle is pointing out his namesake as well.
Had to take a break from the van, these slides at the elementary school were perfect.
Warmed my heart to see how well the family house is being taken care of (and added onto).
Finally made it to Rexburg and crashed at Kioa and Blaire's apartment.
Only problem, no Kioa or Blaire or Genesis.
