Basin City's Parade and Freedom Rodeo

Basin City was not inconspicuous as it hosted one of the only community 4th of July celebratory events in the country during COVID.  For the first time in over 20 years the Basin City Arena was the home of a rodeo thanks to many local farmers and contributors who turned a run-down, overgrown arena into something nationally recognized.  It was a powerful feeling and a perfectly fitting scene to celebrate the freedoms of the United States of America complete with prayer and a fitting National Anthem.  The parade may have been the only parade in the State of Washington.  So much fun!

Bryant also got to work Kettle Korn with Ron Bleazard for the first time.  A HOT job on a HOT day!

Several thousand people for a po-dunk town in Southeastern Washington, not too shabby!

We didn't mean to really jinx that bull, but after Taylor rode it, it had to be put down for a broken leg.

Red, white and blue hair for the parade!

And Grandpa too!

A beautiful sunset as a patriotic backdrop.
