We had most of a week between family reunion and Florida Departure time. We continued with u-pickers and raspberries and got the garden as weeded as possible, knowing it would only get worse during two weeks of absence.
As good as it's going to get this year.
James took the kids out to plant the pumpkins when I had been at Laryn's Baby Shower and we had to squeeze in a weeding so James took them out while I went to a Homeschool meeting.
First year of solid set at Grandpa's house.
We had to throw a zucchini boat race in as well since we pulled the plants from the garden to reduce squash bugs while we were gone.
Rex was behind by quite a ways for most of the race but pulled off a win!
And a beautiful YWs hike up Badger.
