Tuesday - Walmart Springs and Destin

The real name was Ponce de Leon Springs, but it got nicknamed "Walmart Springs" that day because in comparison to the beach the state park was a step down.
But in the sweltering, sticky hot weather, the frigid water was a welcomed relief.  And it was teeth-chattering frigid.  Rex finally got in, one toe at a time.

It was crystal clear water in the middle of a jungle.  There was even a big tree in the middle of the swimming hole to swim around.

When the rain came, and the bees swarmed, and Hyrum sliced his foot, we packed up and drove to Destin Beach.  It did not disappoint!  The waves were perfect for Boogie Boards.
