Back to Business

I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner, but throwing Hyrum's booster in the tub with him worked like a charm. He is now insisting he sit at the table, which is a complete disaster, but he's learning and the sooner the better, right? So, after pasta and a lot of sauce (EVERYWHERE) he and the booster went into the tub.

Sariah is also learning. We do our "school" every morning. Yesterday she impressed me with her fine motor skills coloring and cutting out a gingerbread man. Today, she wrote the names of everyone in the family and did a cutting and pasting activity with the letter "P". She loves it. She is also learning how to rollerblade. She skated all the way around the park on the sidewalk. What she'll tell you about her accomplishment though is that she found a dead mouse!

The boys rode their bikes to school for the first time this school year. Now that they don't meet up with Todd, they are home earlier by about 10 minutes. We have some serious work to do as far as learning some time management and the wonder of getting something (like practicing the violin or piano) done in a reasonable amount of time.

James is back to being overwhelmed with the beginning of school chaos, his own homework overload and at this very moment, helping someone in the ward with some moving stuff.

Me, I'm getting over jet lag. The last two nights I've crashed early. It would be nice to keep that part of the adjustment permanent.
